Clematis workshop

The Coos County Master Gardener Association is sponsoring a free workshop by author Linda Beutler on growing clematis on Saturday.
The talk “Clematis Vine with Everything” is scheduled to be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Coos Bay Public Library, 525 Anderson Ave. Beutler works as a floral designer and garden consultant, according to a press release. She also is an officer with the Pacific Northwest Clematis Society, and is active in the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon and the International Clematis Society. She lectures on numerous garden topics and is a horticulture instructor at Clackamas Community College. She also is the author of “Gardening with Clematis, design and cultivation.”
