Hurricane relief efforts ongoing

American Legion seeks donations Bay Area Post No. 34, American Legion, is making a special effort to support its National Emergency Fund program. In view of the disaster on the Gulf Coast, the Legion is asking all of its members, auxiliary and friends to help by donating funds. The purpose of the program is to meet the needs of Posts or individual members of the Legion family in areas stricken by natural disasters. Those interested in donating can make donations payable to Bay Area Post No. 34, P.O. Box 234, North Bend, OR 97459, and donations will be forwarded on to the national organization.
