A citizen makes a donation to the Coos Bay Chapter 799 Vietnam Veterans of America at Wal-Mart in Coos Bay on Thursday afternoon.

All the money raised will go directly to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. The veterans group also will be at Wal-Mart next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., collecting donations for hurricane survivors. From center standing, is Cliff Nichols, North Bend, vice president of Chapter 799 VVA; and Victor Diaz, right, North Bend, president of Chapter 799 VVA, working the booth at the store entrance. As of Thursday, the group had raised more than $2,000 to help with the disaster relief. People also can send checks or money orders to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8605 Cameron St., Suite 400, Silver Springs, MD 20910, Attn: VVA Hurricane Katrina Relief fund.

The National Wildlife Federation study means nothing. They have an agenda and CRAFTED the results of the study to support the agenda. Only a moron would beleive anything this report says.
