The American Red Cross will hold blood drives for the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief effort Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday's drive will be from 1 to 6 p.m. at the parking lot of the Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave., in North Bend.

Thursday's drive will be from 1 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Compass Building, Fourth Street and Elrod Avenue in Coos Bay.
