Those would like to help victims of Hurricane Katrina can do so through donations to local organizations:

American Red Cross

Contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund may also be made through the Oregon Pacific American Red Cross chapter in Eugene, (541) 344-5245, or the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013. Internet users can make a secure online credit card contribution by visiting http://www.redcross.org.

Salvation Army

Contributions can be made to P.O. Box 3537, Coos Bay, OR 97420. Salvation Army Major Cliff Jones will forward the donations to relief agencies. More information about relief efforts can be found at the Salvation Army Web site, http://www.salvationarmy.org, or the Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network Web site, http://www.satern.org.

Your ignorance is showing for all the world to see, The World.

Hint: Google "iraq/pakistan border" (McCain reference)

McCain syndrome?

"U.S. soldier killed near Iraq-Pakistan border"
