Ribbon-cutting is set at new Apria location

Tuesday, July 26, 2005 |
The Coos Bay Apria Healthcare branch will be moving to a new, larger location in Coos Bay. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening will be held at noon on Thursday across the street from K-Mart at 3126 Ocean Blvd. in Coos Bay.
Apria Healthcare has 475 branches across the nation, serving nine Oregon cities, according to the company's Web site. "We sell and provide medical equipment and services to the community," said Territory Associate DeeDee Page.
The local branch, serving the Bay Area for 13 months, will be expanding to meet higher demands. Formerly located at 254 S. Second St. in Coos Bay, the new location will include a warehouse, customer service center and respiratory department.
The branch has six employees and hopes to hire more in the near future, according to Page. Adam Cleveland is the Coos Bay branch manager.
