Road Runs
Upcoming road races on the South Coast
Coquille River Run/Walk - Saturday, June 4, starting at 9 a.m. in Sturdivant Park. Events include a 10-kilometer run, a 3-mile run and a 3-mile walk. Preregistration is $10 with a T-shirt and $5 without. Race day registration runs from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Entry forms are available at the Coquille Chamber of Commerce and Coquille Century 21.
Jennifer's Catching Slough Classic - Saturday, June 18, starting at 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of the Coos River Highway and Catching Slough Road. Events include a 10-mile run, a 5-kilometer run/walk and a 1-mile kids run. The entry fee is $18 with a T-shirt or $8 without for those who sign up by June 3. The late registration fee is $22 with T-shirt. The event is a fund-raiser for the Jennifer Turman Memorial Scholarship Fund. Raceday registration runs from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. on raceday.
