Head Start accepting applications

South Coast Head Start is accepting applications for the 2005-2006 school year beginning in September. Children who will be 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 2 are eligible.
Head Start is a comprehensive social service and preschool program provided at no coast to income-eligible children and families. Head Start provides social services, health and nutrition screenings and a quality preschool environment. Classrooms are located throughout Coos and Curry counties.
Applications for the current school year are still being accepted to fill classroom vacancies as they occur.
