Bill would reduce minimum wage for tip earners and teenagers

SALEM (AP) - Among bills introduced Monday were ones to:
€ Reduce minimum wage for employees under 18 years old for first 60 days of employment by 50 cents and for employees who receive taxable tips to $7.25, House Bill 2409, introduced by Rep. George Gilman, R-Medford.
€ Require health insurance to cover clinical breast exams, House Bill 2407, by Rep. Diane Rosenbaum, D-Portland.
€ Require health insurance to cover periodic colorectal exams, Senate Bill 374, by Sen. Peter Courtney, D-Salem.
€ Require state universities and community colleges to accept credits from other state universities and community colleges for credit toward a degree, require common course numbering system in state colleges and universities, Senate Bill 369, by Courtney.
€ Prohibit recording and selling motion pictures in theaters without consent from theater owners, Senate Bill 268, by Sen. Ryan Deckert, D-Beaverton.
