The Coquille Indian Tribe and the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians are joining forces to organize the fifth-annual Tribal Indian Education College and Career Fair.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Harding Building, located on the Marshfield High School campus at 755 Seventh St. in Coos Bay.
Visitors at the College and Career Fair can meet with college, business and trade-school representatives. Fair hosts plan to discuss apprenticeship programs, hand out and collect job applications, assist those seeking financial aid online and present information on schools and businesses.
The fair also will feature a presentation from Mother Earth's Children, a Native American theatrical group. Door prizes will be awarded at the event.
