Road Runs
Upcoming Road Races on the South Coast
Circle the Bay - Saturday, Aug. 7, starting at 8 a.m. South Coast 30-kilometer (18.6-mile) championship, course takes runners from Ferry Road Park in North Bend through Coos Bay and around bay on Coos River Highway, East Bay Drive and Highway101. Can be done individually or as part of a three-person team. Entry fee is $22 for individuals and $51 for teams if registered by Aug. 2 and increases after that. Participants receive a T-shirt (long sleeve for individual runners). Walkers start at 6:30 a.m. For more information, those interested can call Pete Dawson at 267-6329.
