Bay Area Teen Idol

Two contestants were eliminated in the third of this season's Bay Area Teen Idol competitions.
On Thursday evening, at the Celebration Center in North Bend, the teens performing included Renee Stupfel, Ileia Fauver, Koral Aakre, Erin Campbell, Micah Langley, Samantha Rogers and Ashley Owen. Also performing were Felicia Brown, Gail Reynolds, Kylee Kimble, Brittany Takenaka-Gaul and Victoria Saderup.
Before a standing-room-only crowd of about in attendance, parents were asked to sing, "We Are the World," in the last performance with their children.
The night ended with the elimination of Brittany Takenaka-Gaul and Kylee Kimble.

- Aug. 5, Celebration Center, at 6 p.m.;
- Aug. 12, Celebration Center, at 6 p.m.;
- Aug. 19, Celebration Center, at 6 p.m.;
- Aug. 21, Charleston Seafood Festival, 2 p.m.;
- Aug. 28, Blackberry Arts Festival, 2 p.m.;
- Sept. 2, Celebration Center, 6 p.m.; and
- Sept. 18, the final round at the Fun Festival, at 3 p.m.
