Marshfield's Micah Russell is among 70 recent graduates participating today in the Les Schwab Bowl, the Class 4A all-star football game.
Russell is the only Marshfield player in the game, and will compete on the South Squad with several other Midwestern League standouts, including Keith and Todd Best and Greg Mombert of Sheldon, David Vabora of Churchill, Ryan Keeling of Thurston and Carl Zehner of Willamette.
The game, which will be played at PGE Park in Portland, benefits a number of youth-oriented organizations, including the Multnomah Athletic Foundation and Oregon Athletic Coaches Association.
