UO gets $10 million for an education complex

PORTLAND (AP) - The University of Oregon has received a $10 million donation from a family foundation in California as seed money for a new College of Education complex.
The gift is the largest donation to the College of Education, and one of the largest in the university's 127-year history.
The Oakland, Calif.-based HEDCO Foundation is a private, family fund which supports a wide range of philanthropic causes and has also recently donated to the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. |
