Miles ousted from panel

Rob Miles was the 12th person eliminated from the Pigskin Prognosticators panel, leaving three men vying for champion in The World's football prediction contest.

Miles and Doug Kime each missed six of the 10 games last week, and each correctly picked Dallas as the winner of the tie-breaker game. But Kime also picked the correct point spread (four points), meaning he advances to join Doug Woodman and Dan Andretta in the final three.

Miles, who works for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon, achieved his primary goal in the contest - outlasting defending champion Randy Miles, his brother.

"I beat my brother and the Ducks beat the Beavers,"he said. "Life is good!"

Rick Osborn, one of the "experts" on the panel, had the top score of the week, correctly picking six of the 10 games.
