Police to carry Special Olympics torch

This year's Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run, set for Thursday, May 29; will begin in the morning at the California border and continue northbound on Highway 101, reaching the city of Bandon by the evening. The goal is to carry the Special Olympics torch all the way through Curry County, representing law enforcement's support for Oregon Special Olympics.
